The basics of a detoxifying plan are that you should do it for 1 week. During this period you should not eat any processed foods, avoid all meat, and any food that contains fats. Your focus should be on eating lots of organic fruit, organic green vegetables, and drinking lots of water. The reason you should go organic for the week is because non-organic fruits and vegetables are sprayed with chemicals.

 

Make sure that you drink around 8 glasses of water throughout the day as this will help flush out toxins. You can also drink 100% fruit juices which you squeeze yourself. Other foods that can be a part of your diet is broccoli, nuts, root vegetables, garlic, and citrus fruits.

 

You should do a detox plan every three months. This will help your body to get rid of all the toxins and allow it to work in the way it was meant to. You will find that you have more energy and any sluggishness will disappear. It will also help you lose weight more easily because your bodily processes will be far more efficient.

 

On top of all the health benefits you will receive from a detox plan, you will also find that your skin will look so much healthier. Many people spend so much money on facial and body care products in an attempt to ward off the aging effect. Detoxifying for a week will do more for your skin than any moisturising cream.
