What is the big controversy over artificial sweeteners? Is it really that bad for you? If it is, why are over 200 million people consuming it on a regular basis? It has endless adverse health affects that people may not be aware of or maybe they just don't care. They may feel the effects but do not know what the cause is and wonder why modern medicine can't help them. I recently tried a popular brand of powdered iced tea and I noticed a nasty after taste. I believe it had an artificial sweetener containing aspartame.

 

 

There are too many products on the market today to mention but some of the most common include: breath mints, gum, ice cream toppings, iced tea powder, many sugar free products, puddings, yogurt, table top sweeteners, and much more. Many people do not let their children drink anything with it in it, which is understandable. Aspartame poisoning is commonly misdiagnosed because symptoms cannot be detected in lab tests or x-rays. It changes the ratio of amino acids in the blood, blocking or lowering the levels of serotonin, tyrosine, nor epinephrine, and adrenaline.

 

 

If you have ever gone to the doctor and complained about physical symptoms and he or she couldn't find the cause, it is most likely due to your diet and/or environment.
